Postmodernism, Liberal Values and How To Make A Proper Cup Of Tea
A conversation with Michael Goldwater.
I spoke to Michael Goldwater for The Shape of Dialogue podcast. We looked in some depth at the core principles of postmodern thought and the postmodern worldview, differentiating between the critics of the state of postmodernity and postmodern/poststructuralist theorists. Does it have anything valid to contribute? What challenge does it offer to liberalism? How does evidence-based epistemology and liberalism offer us a better way to critique the same problems? How does tea play into all of this? Hint: properly made tea makes everything better (“British” is redundant. Say ‘no’ to cultural relativism)
